Harrisonburg's Children's Museum

This was so much fun! Mom, Michelle, Noah, Toby and myself all went to the Children's Museum during our visit to Harrisonburg. This place is downtown, right on court square. It was such a cool place. It was so fun to see the boys in this element. Noah loves methodical play and he really likes to figure things out. Everything has a system and he can do the same thing over and over and over. It is so awesome to see him learn while he's playing. He found a box of blocks and played with those for awhile. Then Nana showed him a box of these magnet sticks and magnetic balls. Mom said he could've stayed there the entire time just playing with the magnets. Toby on the other hand wanted to see and touch everything all at once. It was so fun to follow him around and to see him get excited about every new thing he saw. You'll have to click on the image to be able to see some of the fun things they were able to do. They played in the garden, in the toddler barn. I tried to get Noah to climb the rock wall so we could show his daddy... he wasn't really into that. They went shopping for fruit, and found a ramp to run up and down. Michelle and I posed for a picture while we were in the barn. It wasn't until we were looking through the pictures that we noticed the lovely caption of, "cow". (enlarge the image to see what i'm talking about) We all had so much fun. I wish we had a place like that here in Mayberry... Oh well, I guess we'll just have to visit the 'burg a little more often! :)
