Trunk or Treat 2008

Last night was our ward's trunk-or-treat. We dressed the boys up in their costumes and headed over. Gigi came too. She dressed up like a witch and painted her face green! Noah watched her put her make-up and green wig on so he wouldn't be freaked. Noah was grumpy (we had a crappy day yesterday) but lightened up towards the end. Griffin was great, like always and they both got TONS of compliments on their costumes.

This is Noah's good friend, Peyton. They were giving eachother high fives.

The fam. Noah's hat is squishing his eye... haha.

This was one of the games that they had there. He tried...

My little cow... This costume was a 0-6 month size and he was totally busting out of it. Seriously, the snaps kept coming undone. Doesn't he know that he's not even 3 months old yet??

Brilliance of the Insane

Prayer of a 2 year old

I just put Noah down for a nap and he said the sweetest prayer. I wanted to document some of the things he prayed for:

Cars (about 5 times)
Stickers
Gigi - Ginger
Plug - that's what we call his pacifier. (about 3 times)
Fan - (about 5 times)
Sleep

He came up with all those on his own. I love being his mommy and watching him grow and learn.

10 shirts!

Ok... this was hilarious. We were all in the bedroom hanging out when Noah goes over to Ammon's t-shirt drawer and pulls one out. He brought it over to me and wanted me to put it on him. I did and we laughed for a minute and then he brings me another one to put on him. He did this until the entire drawer was empty! (thank goodness there were only 10 shirts in there) Oh and before the t-shirt fiasco, he got in my sock drawer and picked out a lovely pair to wear. Can you find the socks?

Creek fun

Every time we go to the park, Noah asks to go to the "water" and throw rocks. The other day, it was super warm outside and he had a BLAST splashing around and throwing rocks into the creek. Here are some shots of the action.

Poem for My Wife

A Sons Love

Here are two little boys
That love you more than toys

They come to you when sad
They come to you when glad

You are their mother dear
And in your arms
They have nothing to fear

No matter what you do
No matter what you say
They love you, they love you, they love you!

Poem for My Wife

Miss the little things.

I don't mean to boast but,
I love you the most.
Your eyes, ears and nose,
Everything down to your toes.

You are my wife,
Best friend, lover, and life.
I can't wait to kiss you,
And no longer miss you.

2 1/2 hours... Really?

Who thinks it should take 2 1/2 hours to get a heat pump estimate? Good grief... this guy talked and talked and talked and took up our entire evening. We have other estimates every night this week. Let's hope they don't take as long!
