We had a fun night tonight. Will and Ginger came over and we drove down to Clemmons (45 minute drive) and ate at the cracker barrel. I had their chicken 'n dumplings and they were so yummy! Noah really enjoyed dinner and made us all laugh with his methodical play. This kid seriously wants everything a certain way. He moved all the silverware to one side of the table, all in a row, and then moved it all to the other side the same way. He did that a few times and then he moved on to one of those triangle peg games, you know what I'm talking about, the ones that you have to keep jumping pegs to only have one peg left. Anyway, he would take them all out and lay them the same way. And if Pap would stand one up, Noah would put it right back down on its' side. He does things like this at home too. It is his favorite way to play and learn. Anyway, after dinner we went to the Tanglewood Festival of Lights. It was so neat! We drove through this huge park to look at the amazing light display they had set up. Noah enjoyed sitting up front with Ammon and I. He helped Ammon shift, steer, turn the brights on, the windshield wipers on and even honk the horn. He sure was a good helper! He really enjoyed it. We were listening to the Appalachian State game on the radio and at halftime, I believe the score was 21 to 7! I'm not sure how the game turned out though... Back to the lights, they had so many different displays it was really quite amazing. I think my favorite display was 2 elves lighting fireworks and then seeing all the different fireworks go off. Pretty cool. Noah was such a good boy. We got home 2 1/2 hours after his bedtime and even though he was exhausted, he was such a good sport. I was really proud of him. Thanks Gigi and Pap for a fun night!
